How to Use Butta Clean®

For Daily Capping:

Apply Butta Clean® directly onto the capping station pad until it looks fully saturated.
This keeps the nozzles moist during downtime and prevents overnight drying.

For Routine Cleaning:

• Use a syringe with tubing to gently flush the printhead.

• Fill cleaning cartridges with Butta Clean® and run standard cleaning cycles.

• Apply with a foam swab or lint-free wipe to clean:

  • Printhead face

  • Wiper blade

  • Capping station

  • Surrounding ink-contact areas

Special Note:

Butta Clean® is a safe, everyday formula.
For severe, hardened clogs, you may still require a stronger, specialized “restoration” or “extreme” solution—but these should only be used sparingly.
For routine maintenance, protection, and day-to-day reliability, Butta Clean® is the recommended go-to.
